About this venue
A small proscenium-arch theatre in Lowther Gardens, built in 1921 to replace an open-air bandstand and seating 457. It runs as a community and touring house — drama, music and pantomime — and its room model is the most detailed of the three, carrying the raked seating, the columns and the truss.
